Payment Policy
As your primary care providers we are commiteed to providing you with quality and affordabel health care. Our patients frequently have questions regarding patient and insurance responsiblity for services we provide. We have developed this payment policy in order to inform intersted parties about our standard payment policy. Please contact us at (512) 869-4800 for any questions you may have.
1. Which health insurance providers do we accept?
We participate in most insurance plans, including Medicare. If you are not insured by a plan that we do business with, payment in full is expected at each visit. Patients are cpected to keep their insurance cards current. Knowing your insurance benefits is your responsibility. Please contact your insurance company with any questions you may have regarding your coverage. We will assist you with questions you may have about your insurance coverage.
What about co-payment and deductibles?
All co-payments and deductibles must be paid at the time of service. This arrangement is an agreement as part of your contract with your insurance company. Failure on ou part to collect co-payments and deductibles from patients may be considered fraudulent.
What about services that are not covered?
Please be aware that some - and perhaps all - of the services you receive may be noncovered or not considered reasonable or necessary by Medicare or other insurers. We have the sincere intention to work with your insurance company and you to plan for the optimal care. You will be considred responsible for the cost of these services at the time of your visit.
